An excellent all year climate makes Coffs Harbour a great holiday destination with the Coffs Coast offering an incredibly wide selection of experiences for you to enjoy.
From lush World Heritage listed sub-tropical rainforests to the temperate sub-tropical waters of the Solitary Islands Marine Park, there are plenty of outdoor activities to enjoy including bushwalking, four-wheel driving, scuba diving, surf rafting, whale watching, fishing, swimming, surfing and other beach activities or observing kangaroos lazing on a sun-soaked headland.
For a more relaxed time, browse Coffs Coast´s local arts and crafts galleries and hinterland markets, do a spot of shopping, enjoy a coffee or meal at a cosmopolitan-style café, stroll along a foreshore or coastal boardwalk, make your mark on the V-Wall, play a round of golf, hire a bicycle and explore on two wheels, or four – take one of our driving trails.
The surrounding retailers offer a wide variety of cafes, bakeries, boutique stores and several banks. Those shopping in the city square can take advantage of the multi-storey under-cover carpark, which has shop-level access on the second floor.
The City is well known for its specialty markets eagerly trading around town. You’ll find a wide range of fresh, locally made produce, plants, arts and crafts, bric-a-brac and pre-loved items. Make sure you put some time aside to visit the City Centre’s Growers’ Markets and the weekly Jetty Markets and City Uptown Markets; you will be surprised at the variety of goods you can buy.
There are also regular and well-attended markets in the heritage townships and villages that dot the Coffs Coast.
